Josephine Pallard

Vice President

Dr. Josephine Pallard is a Filipino-Canadian educator, advocate, and community leader with a lifelong commitment to supporting Immigrants in Canada. 

Josephine’s decades of service include co-founding multiple Filipino-Canadian organizations which have been recognized with national honors such as the Governor General’s Award and the Senate of Canada’s Medal of Excellence.

Shannon
Troke

Treasurer

Shannon earned a Management Diploma, Accounting Diploma, and Bachelor of Business Administration from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology. 

As Treasurer of the Valley Zoo Development Society, he stays busy but still finds time for badminton, cycling, and family.

Secretary

Elizabeth is a business professional with over six years of executive administration experience, she discovered a passion for marketing after starting her own small business and is now pursuing a marketing degree at NAIT. 

Elizabeth thrives on executing creative ideas, understanding consumer behavior, and constantly learning in a challenging industry.

Tony Muto

Director

Tony relocated from Montreal to Edmonton in 2001. He has worked for both the Federal and Provincial Governments and holds a Bachelor’s degree in business marketing.

Tony has experience as a former stuntman, humanitarian with the International Red Cross, Oxfam Québec, and the President of the Angolan Community in Western Canada.

Brad Vince

Operations Administrator

As the Operations Administrator, Brad supports daily operations while overseeing facility management and improvements, ensuring the EIC Facility is safe, efficient, and culturally welcoming.

Christine Abastillas

Operations & Administrative Assistant

Christine  supports daily administrative, operational, and accounting tasks, assists with facility upkeep, and helps maintain an organized, welcoming, culturally inclusive environment.

Albert Kintu

Facility & Program Development

Albert is instrumental in the development, coordination, collaboration, promotion, and implementation of various EIC facility and EIC sponsored events and programs. 

His creative, engaging designs, along with his experience in web and graphic design, photo and video media, support EIC’s program development.

Brkti Ngusse

Facility Host

Brkti supports daily facility operations by assisting EIC Guests, ensuring a smooth transition between events.

Brkti also assists Newcomers with tax filing.

Aniela

Facility Host

Aniela supports daily facility operations by assisting EIC Guests, ensuring a smooth transition between events.
